Lifeline Foundation held a relief aid mission on August 24 for more than 60 families of the students in Lifeline’s Satellite School Program who were affected by floods triggered by Tropical Storm Maring. The families live in Dela Rama, a depressed area in Parañaque City, wherein floods reached neck-level. Southern Manila, Laguna and Cavite were among the worst hit areas in Luzon.
This mission was held in partnership with the Korean students from the ESL Program of Lifeline Foundation South City Central School who donated and also helped distribute the relief packs with clothes, water bottles, canned goods, noodles and other food items to the Satellite School students’ families.
A big THANK YOU to all those who made this mission possible — from the donors to those who helped pack and give out the donations. It’s always great to work together towards changing lives!
