RELIEF AID MISSIONS: PHILIPPINES

Relief Operation: Sholand Evacuation Center

On Oct 24, Lifeline Foundation held another relief mission to give out goods at Sholand Evacuation Center, Santo Nino St., near the munisipiyo of San Pedro. The evacuees were at the 2nd flr of a commercial bldg. We had the Lifeline van, and the 2 MISYS vans parked in front of the building and we had the people line up at the stairs and we gave out the goods from the vehicles.

Some of the MISYYS employees brought their children also so they could experience helping others. The dedicated team leaders for this evacuation center were very thankful we brought goods to them. There are 198 families on the second floor of that building. 77 of them were part of the group that had food poisoning so they were being treated at another area. They were a part of those who were in Central School before, and they still couldn't go back to their houses bec the water level is still very high.

MISSY brought the ff: 100 bags of grocery items, 100 bags of clothes (1 bag consist of a set of clothing for a dad, mom, girl and boy) We also brought 10 boxes of Dr. Kaufman soap for San Pedro municipality to distribute to other areas that are still under water up to now.
