ADOPTION ADVOCACY

Adoption Advocacy: Toy & Clothes Drive.

This month, Lifeline Foundation is kicking off something big! We at Lifeline Foundation, are officially launching our CLOTHES AND TOYS DRIVE; starting this month and continuing all the way to the holiday season. A collection of used but still-good toys and clothes are needed for children from ages O to 12 years old.

Now, why is it that when people are asked to give, a certain reluctance arises? Money is not the object here. It comes down to – What is your attitude towards giving? By giving away, no, donating your used clothes and toys, you are not only helping yourself get rid of stuff (which would otherwise be collecting dust in the attic),but you will be helping others who are in need of it more than you.

Some of you may be already thinking, "But I am already giving..." or "I was planning on giving it to..." That's good; now direct your giving towards this worthy cause– every contribution will not go unnoticed. Give yourself the gift of giving; kill the selfish tendencies that come with the Christmas season. Down with the Scrooges and the misers! We all know the Golden Rule of treating others the way we want to be treated, so act now and put your money (or your old toys and clothes) where your mouth is.

Before December 25, the toys and clothes we have collected will be given to our partner orphanages and children’s homes. Among them are Sta Rita Orphanage in Sucat, Paranaque, Tuloy Foundation in Muntinlupa, Kaisahang Buhay Foundation in Cubao, QC, and many more. Believe in the power of karma – know that everything you do will come back to you one way or another.
