A day in the life of a volunteer. You wake up before 2am, take a 6-hour trip via bus and boat and the top of a LGU emergency vehicle to a town called San Vicente, Abra de Ilog, Oriental Mindoro. You lift boxes, crates of medicines and sacks of donations. You perform tasks asked of you because you’re part of a team and you’re on a mission. And at the end of the day, you pack up, celebrate with the other volunteers who by now have become your friends, and then start planning the next one!
Thank you, Lifeline team–you guys are the best!
