Lifeline Medical Mission #1 for 2011

In partnership with Alpha Phi Omega (Bayombong Chapter) and the District IV Barangay Leadership, Lifeline Foundation Support Team successfully executed its first Medical-Dental Mission for 2011 on January 30, in Bayombong, Nueva Viscaya.

Approximately 300 men, women, children came that early Sunday morning for medical and dental consultation, tooth extractions, distribution of medicines and vitamins. The Barangay committee led by Mr. Omar Panganiban, Jr. warmly welcomed the 52 Lifeline volunteers with boutonnieres, breakfast, snacks, and lunch.

APO alumni and volunteers headed by Mr. Jun Garcia (Regional Head of Region 2) invited Lifeline Foundation to hold the outreach for their constituents in District IV. Lifeline and APO volunteers joined hands in helping some of our countrymen in Bayombong.

Rain showers did not deter the operations of the Lifeline doctors, nurses, dentists, medical assistants, ushers, and security support team. People flow was smooth and interactive. Waiting time was pleasant and productive. It proved to be a good time for everyone to reach out, interact, appreciate the unique Bayombong care and hospitality, and enjoy the cool Bayombong climate while giving some love, care, brotherhood, community spirit, and medical care.

Here’s to widening our reach and expanding our strength to bring aid, care, and inspiration to our countrymen this year! Watch out for details of our next Medical Missions on February and March 2011, and partner with us in being the change.
